Peeved

I'm quite hot under the collar at the moment ... a few small events that have occurred which have proceeded to knock my wee planet off balance, ever so slightly.  It's a complete overreaction, but one needs to vent somewhere.

I therefore present you with Alium Cepa's Top Five Current Pet Peeves

1. People who bully others.  For example, a person who, rather unfortunately, decided to graft himself onto a branch of the family tree approximately 25 years ago has managed to irritate, humiliate and frustrate not only the trunk, but also the twigs and the leaves.
2. People who complain of the said graft's behaviour, but allow him to continue to indulge in it with impunity by doing or saying nothing.
3. People who accept the hospitality of others, and then proceed not only to make the atmosphere uncomfortable, but presume to tell others how they ought to not only organise their meal but their home, just because they have presented their host with a gift.
4. People who make judgements of others based on their own belief systems, with no reflection upon how their own are irretrievably fucked up.
5. People who pretend to be something they're not in order to impress others, rather than being brave enough to find out who they are and what they are really about.

So endeth the fucking rant.
